Product: Katz Wallet β a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet on the XRP Ledger
1. π Definitions
The following terms are used in this Agreement:
Application β the mobile app βKatz Walletβ developed to manage cryptocurrency assets on the XRP Ledger.
XRPL (XRP Ledger) β a decentralized public blockchain for tokens, transactions, and decentralized exchange.
Non-custodial wallet β a wallet where only the user controls the private keys. The developer has no access to funds.
User β an individual who uses the Application.
Seed phrase β a mnemonic phrase that allows recovery of wallet access.
Private key β a cryptographic key used to sign transactions.
xApp β a mini-application embedded into Katz Wallet (e.g. DEX, analytics, MoonPay, NFT tools), created by Katz or third-party developers.
DEX β the decentralized exchange built into XRPL, accessible via blockchain.
IOU β tokens issued by third parties on XRPL that represent off-chain assets.
Sign Request β a message requesting a userβs transaction signature.
Device β the mobile device on which the Application is installed.

Acceptance of Terms
By using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Application immediately.
3. π§© Product Description
The Application does not store, transmit, or process your private keys or seed phrases.
All sensitive data is stored locally on your device, encrypted using hardware-based security modules (Secure Enclave / StrongBox) where available.
The Application provides an interface for interacting with XRPL but does not act as a custodian.
4. π No Custodial Responsibility
We:
do not store user funds;
cannot recover lost access to wallets;
do not control or reverse transactions;
do not issue or manage IOUs;
are not custodians or intermediaries.
You are fully and solely responsible for the safety of your keys, seed phrase, and device.
5. π§βπ» User Responsibilities
By using the Application, you agree to:
securely store your private keys and seed phrase;
never share your credentials with third parties;
use only trusted devices and secure networks;
avoid using rooted or jailbroken devices;
keep your OS and Application up to date;
verify transaction details before signing.
We are not responsible for:
usage of modified or insecure devices;
phishing attacks, malicious contracts, fake tokens;
loss of funds, access, or data;
incorrect addresses or user mistakes;
any third-party behavior, including harmful xApps.
6. π§© Embedded xApps
The Application may include xApps developed either by Katz or independent third parties.
We do not verify, audit, or guarantee the functionality, legality, or safety of third-party xApps.
We are not liable for losses, errors, or actions resulting from the use of xApps.
Users are responsible for reviewing the terms and privacy policies of each xApp they use.
7. β οΈ Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided βas isβ with no warranties of any kind. We:
do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation;
do not guarantee compatibility with certain tokens, IOUs, or services;
do not provide investment, legal, tax, or financial advice;
do not guarantee immunity from bugs, vulnerabilities, or malware.
8. π« Limitation of Liability
Use of the Application is at your own risk.
We shall not be liable for:
direct or indirect losses, including lost funds, access, data, or reputation;
any incidental, punitive, or consequential damages;
damages arising from third-party actions or infrastructure failure.
Maximum liability is limited to $0.
9. π Privacy
We do not collect personal data such as email, IP address, geolocation, analytics, wallet addresses, balances, or social data.

10. βοΈ Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved under international private law, subject to a jurisdiction determined at the discretion of the Application owner.
11. π Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
